Shanty Conlan creates images that capture both the physical and intangible forces of the natural world: sound, motion, light, distance, and gravity. Her work is a visual interpretation of these forces, from the layering of sediment and the formation of terrain, to the movement and interaction of celestial bodies. The work shifts in focus from the macro to the micro, examining the multiple worlds within worlds.
